Orders will be ready for collection in 1-2 working days from Moores of Coleraine.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and off shore islands may take slightly longer.  At present, we do not deliver outside the UK and Ireland.

Please note:

Due to the upcoming Public Holiday (Wednesday 12th July) in Northern Ireland, any orders placed after 12 noon on Tuesday 11th July will not be delivered until Friday 14th July (next working day service) or after.

Our couriers require a signature for the delivery.  If Royal Mail attempt to delivery your order and nobody is in they will leave a card for you to request another delivery, or you can collect your item from one of their depots. Should you require assistance with your delivery please call us on 0800 012 1771.

If DPD attempt to deliver your order and for any reason should you not be home when they call, DPD will deliver the parcel to your closest neighbour.  DPD will capture the neighbour’s signature as proof of delivery along with details of the neighbours address, together with their GPS co-ordinates.  A calling card will be left for you stating exactly where your parcel has been delivered to!  If for any reason you do not want the parcel to be left with a neighbour or a specific neighbour please inform a member of our Customer Services team at the time of placing your order or if placing online please make a note in the comment box.

In the event of any orders being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier.

Returns Policy

At Captain Cooks we want you to be happy with your purchase. Subject our terms and conditions below, we are happy to exchange or refund your purchase within 28 days of delivery. For Collect in Store orders, the 28 days starts after you have received your 'Order Ready for Collection' email.

If you have received an item is a damaged condition please contact us on 0800 012 1771 and one of our dedicated customer service advisors will be able to advise you on how to proceed with the return. We ask that you report any damages to us within 5 days of delivery.

Terms & conditions:

  • It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition; we ask that all items are returned unused, undamaged and with their original packaging.
  • Basic delivery charges will be refunded when an entire order is returned. Upgraded delivery services are non-refundable.
  • Where a product has been specially ordered for you, (e.g. a Kitchen Trolley) unless faulty, we're unable to refund or offer an exchange.
  • The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. For your own protection, we recommend that you use a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note: We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

We will refund the credit or debit card of the person who originally placed and paid for the order.

Returns Procedure

1. Returns via Royal Mail or courier

  • Please complete Section 1 of the Returns Form. A copy can also be found packed together with your order.
  • Enclose the returns form with the product, and package up securely.
  • Return the parcel to our distribution centre at the below address.  For your convenience you may cut this address from your Returns Form and affix it to the parcel.

Once we have received the goods and checked them, we will exchange the item or refund your money, less any express or next working day shipping costs.

Please note that if a package is returned without a returns form we cannot guarantee your return will be processed promptly.

2. Returns via our store (Moores of Coleraine)

Simply take a print-out of your order confirmation and the product you wish to return or exchange to the Click & Collect desk located on the ground floor in Moores.

We will refund the credit or debit card of the person who originally placed and paid for the order. Please note that this may take up to 48 hours to process from the time of return.
